Why I Am Not Jane Austen

The E-Books Have Landed!

Three of the first three of the 5 releases are now available at Barnes & Noble for the Nook!

To celebrate, I will be giving away a paperback copy of The Girl With The Persian Shawl. All I ask is that you spread the word: you can tweet about the eBooks (add the hashtags #elizabethmansfield and #regency), “Like” the Elizabeth Mansfield fan page on Facebook, and then let me know here in the comments.

I will pick a winner from the comment stream here, and ANOTHER winner from the Facebook fans, and… ANOTHER winner from the twitter stream!

I also would love to have a book discussion about any of these three romances – so let me know in the comments which one you’d like to read/discuss first and we’ll get to it!

Well, I learned how to read when I was 3 years old, and I’ll be damned if that didn’t come in handy later down the line. I hear these “books” people keep talking about are filled with lots of different words to read and can even tell a story! I about pissed my pants when I first heard this, and now it is my life’s quest to obtain one of these said “books.” Maybe you’ll find it in your kind, beautiful heart to bestow upon me the gift of the written word. If not, I completely understand and I will continue my intellectual expansion via the rear of my cereal box.

I just purchased MothersChoice for KindeI. I will try to twitter about Elizabeth Mansfield. I am not proficient twittering but I can try! I am trying to find the schedule of all the ebooks on your website and when they will be available. Please release ‘The Fifth Kiss’ one of my favorites.

    Hi, Wendy –
I was a friend of Paula’s here in Virginia, along with Terry Paiste. At lunch recently, we talked fondly of Paula and wondered whether her books were available digitally. I set out to send you that recommendation and was delighted to see on your website that you have already done that. Your mother would be quite proud of you and your efforts to keep her books available. Congratulations on the fabulous website and all you have done.
    Best wishes,
    Grace Topping
